A touch of red....

It's not often that this happens, OK, it's the FIRST time this has happened...I am naming a piece after a challenge. lol I can't help it, "A touch of red" just seems to fit this....or should it be a touch of gold? Now I'm confused, what do you think?
I do think it is worthy of some special attention so I am thinking of matting it and having it properly framed...

I love this Giant Peony Stamp by Indigoblu. I had to paint it in and then restamp over it because it got lost with the gel printed background...I did go back over it with a black pen to make it pop out more.

The way the butterflies seem to be bursting out from the red paint is what drew me to this one.
I instantly fell in love with it. I did add some gold splatters to tie in a little with the gold peony.

Indigoblu February challenge - a touch of red

I think a Touch of Red is perfect but so is a Touch of Gold, or even just "Peony". Well dern, not much help am I? Lol. Gorgeous design and the floating red butterflies and the icing on the cake for me. Awesome sauce and it should go in a frame! ~Niki

Hi Sandee. This is a beautiful piece. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. You did a great job adding the pen detail.

It's a great idea to name your piece after the challenge! And what a fitting title too! Love what you did with the background and how you brought back the details for the stamped image!
